Back, seriously, I'm back...

Since I need to update my blog more, i'm going to make a valid attempt to keep my viewers happy by updating daily, when school permits. Been riding my bike a lot lately, and we're really getting into some classes that I acutally care about now (operative/endo/prosthetics) so I'm working a little harder this summer to keep up. I also have the NBDE I's coming up July 11th, so i'm trying to study for that at the same time. Fun summer....

Meredith is moving here in a little over a week, and I can't wait. I'll finally have someone to do things with... More updates tommorow.

I'm baaaaaack

After a two week break from "blogging" i've found some downtime in my schedule to post a little update. This summer is going to be crazy, like really crazy. I've got class from 8-5 everyday, non-stop, half hour lunches, and I have to study for the NBDE par I exam, which is a nerd test they make us take to get our dental licenses.. We took a mock exam today, and it was hard as hell. I'm going to have to really bust it to do well, so i'm starting the preperation tommorow.

Man it's nice to be back in chicago, but school gets progressivley worse every semester. Someday i'll look back on all of this and laugh. Don't think i'll go see the new stars wars this weekend, I can wait a few weeks until MGH moves here! She found a place, and it's way nicer than my dump, so I'm planning on crashing there often...err...never ;) beginning in June. I'll get some more stuff up later this week. Cheers!

Back in the saddle again...

Well.....I made it through finals, and i'm alive. As my grades role in, slowly, it looks like I did fairly well. Couple of C's, which is to be expected, since i had 26 credit hours, but a few A's mixed in. I outdid myself in Pathology and pulled an A out of my ass, not even studying for the final. I do what I can.... I'm at my mom's house here in the beautiful downstate Illinois and have been riding my bike all week. God I miss my life. 70 miles yesterday, and hopefully a bunch today, again.

I'm going to STL to visit MGH this week, and we're going to a cardinals game...speaking of the cardinals. They were amazing last night, and it was my first chance to watch an entire Cards game this season.

Albert Pujols jacked two homeruns last night, best player in baseball, heh?

BYOB....Bring your own Booyah...

Somehow, somewhere, the neuranatomy gods are smiling down upon me. I got an A on my Neuroanatomy final.... So, I'm all like "sheeez yah, that's awesome considering that I only went to the lab once all semester and made it to a whole two out of twenty lectures..." But I'll take it. Being a genius is hard sometimes....I'll definatley celebrate this one tommorow night with a little bit of this:

And a whole lot of this:

New Oasis, Sufjan Stevens is weird...

I'll post more later on in the week about the new Sufjan Stevens album: Illinois. Since I'm from Illinois, naturally, my opinion matters more than anyone else's. From what I've heard, it's pretty damn good. New Ryan Adams is also very good. But..... everyone's favorite sibling rivalists Oasis have a new album out and if Liam is right this just might be the "best fn' album ever.." We'll see about that, don't hold your breath. They hate Bloc Party, though, which I think is hillarious. Two more finals to go. I'm still alive baby.... booooyah!

01. Turn Up The Sun

02. Mucky Fingers

03. Lyla

04. Love Like A Bomb

05. The Importance Of Being Idle

Finals, still sucking....

Yah, so finals suck, and this is going to be me, for the rest of my life. Sweet. Bombed, and I mean Bombed my Biochem final today....hard stuff that biochem. I wasn't entirely sure about some of the trivial pathways that they make us learn, you know, the difference between the acetyl-coA pathway and the 5 carbon Fatty acid pathway...things like that... but I'm hoping that I somehow squeaked out a B in the class. Either way, i'm done with that sheez. Two tests tomorrow in occlusion, or the study of teeth coming together. Now there is an interesting study/ life sucks ;)

I've gotten in two swims this week, thankfully, though both were only about 800 meters total, and really fast. Since I've set up shop at the library, this week has incidentally become a rest week in training.
Hooray for Ben Gordon. I still think he's a major jerk for blowing me off at 3 A.M in a club, maybe i'm too white... whatever... he'll never win Rookie of the Year.

Couple of tunes....
make sure to get the Go! Team tracks, it's one of my favorite albums from last year and gets your ass going....gym style....
